Who should attend?

  • Members of the IFP including Fellows and CFPCM professionals
  • Financial Advisers, Financial Planners, Wealth Managers, Paraplanners & other key practice personnel
  • Accountants, solicitors & other financial professionals

Can guests and partners attend?

Due to the popularity of this event, guests, partners and individuals may only join delegates at receptions and dinners if attending the conference as delegates themselves.  Individual invitations and guest passes may be available at the conference evenings at a later date and are subject to availability and until then delegates can register a spouses' interest. An additional payment will be required to cover spouses wishing to enjoy the hotel facilities. Email conference@financialplanning.org.uk for more information. 

Will I be able to access the presentation materials (speaker notes)?

Copies of speaker presentations will be posted on the programme pages of this website one week after the conference.  No paper copies of materials are supplied at the event.

What is the dress code for the conference?

The dress code for the conference is as follows:

Conference/daytime programme
Business/smart casual
Welcome evening
Business/smart casual
Gala evening
Black tie

As a guest at the Celtic Manor, can I use the leisure facilities (gym, pool etc)?

Yes, guests staying at The Celtic Manor Resort Hotel and Manor House enjoy complimentary use of The Forum Health Club facilities.

Is WiFi available at the hotel?

Free WiFi is available in all bedrooms and within the public areas of the hotel. 

Can I book accommodation directly with the hotel?

No, the IFP is holding all accommodation at the Resort and Manor House for the nights of the 20 and 21 September.  Accommodation for any other nights should be booked directly with the hotel.  See below for details.

Can I book in for the weekend?

Yes but not via the IFP. If you would like to book pre/post conference accommodation, you will need to do so directly with the Celtic Manor Resort.  The nights of the 20 and 21 September can only be booked via the conference packages.  Please download the booking form below and return it to the Celtic Manor to secure your booking:
