Terms & conditionsThe fee includes access to conference sessions and the exhibition, course materials, refreshments, lunch, plus dinner and accommodation where booked (dependent on the package booked). All prices quoted are in £ Sterling. DISCOUNTSPlease be aware that the 5% online booking discount only applies to bookings made online. The extended 5% early booking discount applies to all bookings received by the end of Monday 24 May 2010. The early booking discount will not apply to bookings received after this date and time.You will be advised if you have missed the deadline. Proof of posting is not sufficient to qualify as the date received is the date that the discount will apply to. Please note that both the early booking and online booking discounts can be taken together so delegates can receive a discount of up to 10%. Discounts are available for companies booking 3 or more delegates on to the conference - view more information. MEMBER RATESMember rates are only applicable to fully paid-up members of the IFP. If booking online, you will be requested to provide your membership number before your booking can proceed. All registrations will be checked and the IFP has the right to refuse and refund registrations, which may be subject to a £50 administration fee, made at member rates if they are not from a fully paid up member. COMBINED CONFERENCE & NEW MEMBER OPTIONTo be eligible for IFP member rates, non members of the IFP can add membership to their booking and receive their first year's membership at the reduce rate of £100 (at the time of writing, usually £160 plus a £25 admin charge). This option is only available to non-members of the IFP and is not available to renewing members. VIP TREATMENTThis applies to the first 50 bookings received, not including IFP board members, IFP conference committee members or sponsors and exhibitors. PARAPLANNER RATES
PAYMENTFor an online registration to be accepted, payment must be made at the time of registration. Bookings not paid for at the time of registration will not be classed as confirmed. You will be notified that your registration has been unsuccessful and will be required to start the process again. Delegates who register online should receive three emails confirming their bookings: 1x from IFP, 1x from Roman Cart, 1x from SagePay. Bookings made by post must be accompanied by a cheque made payable to ‘Institute of Financial Planning’ or valid credit/debit card (Amex is not accepted) details. Paper/fax/phone bookings must be accompanied by valid credit/debit card (Amex is not accepted) details. Bookings made within 10 working days of the conference are at the discretion of the IFP and must be paid for by credit card. No places will be reserved without payment. ATTENDEE CANCELLATION / SUBSTITUTION POLICYAny cancellation or substitution must be made in writing or by email to the IFP (conference@financialplanning.org.uk). CANCELLATIONS
Important note: If an attendee fails to attend (without prior written cancellation) no refund will be offered. Substitution of one attendee for another will be accepted without charge, but must be supported by a fully completed Registration Form. Please notify the IFP by emailing conference@financialplanning.org.uk as early as possible if this is the case. JOINING INSTRUCTIONSOnline bookings will automatically receive an e-mail as confirmation of the booking, subject to payment. This e-mail will include details of your booking for the conference. Bookings received via the IFP office will be sent confirmation via the post/email. Full details, including programme details and joining instructions, can be access via the conference website www.ifpconference.org.uk, enabling you to attend the event fully prepared. CONFERENCE CAPACITYPlaces at this event are limited so please book well in advance. If we receive your registration form and the conference is full, we will notify you and put your name on a waiting list. ACCOMMODATIONThe IFP is holding limited accommodation at the Celtic Manor Hotel, which is the base for the 2010 conference, and the Manor House Hotel, which is on the same site as the Celtic Manor Hotel. Accommodation will be automatically allocated, on a first come first served basis, to the Celtic Manor Hotel. If we receive your registration form and the accommodation is full, we will notify you. CHANGES TO PROGRAMMEThe Institute of Financial Planning reserves the right to alter timings, sessions, speakers and venue where necessary. LIABILITYThe IFP does not accept any liability for any property damage or loss incurred at any time during the event. The IFP shall not be liable (whether such liability arises due to negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation, or for any other reason excluding fraudulent misrepresentation) for any loss of use of any software, data, loss or use of any computer or indirect, consequential loss or damage (including loss or damage suffered by the attendee as a result of an action brought by a third party) even if such loss was reasonably foreseeable or the IFP had been advised of the possibility of the attendee incurring the same. NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICYThe IFP complies with all UK and European laws applicable in relation to discrimination on any grounds. Accordingly, the IFP is committed to providing equality of opportunity and fair treatment for all. The IFP will not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, religion, culture or disability in dealing with candidates. DATA PROTECTIONBy submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow the IFP and companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications please email conference@financialplanning.org.uk. The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to all attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings. Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise at the time of booking. IFP EVENT CANCELLATIONIn the extremely unlikely event that the IFP needs to cancel the conference we will endeavour to notify you as soon as possible. The IFP reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event and in such an occurrence the total liability of the IFP for such a cancellation or postponement shall be limited to a refund of any fee paid by the attendee.
